Just in: NECO Registrar. Godswill Obioma, murderd by gunmen

Another prominent Southeast personality, known as Professor Godswill Obioma, the Registrar of National Education Commission (NECO), was gruesomly murderd by Unidentified gunmen,
Information available to Obinwannem News, reveals that, he was strangled to death, at his residence in Minna.
The incident was confirmed by his wife, Elizabeth Obioma, who told journalists, "The assassins came in and killed him, and left without taking anything".
Elizabeth, however disclosed, that the husband just returned to Minna, from a trip in Abuja, when the assassins attacked him.
This is coming, a day after the murder of Provost of the Nigerian Immigration, Okeimute, and also that of Ahmed Gulak, the former presidential political adviser, both of which was killed in Imo.
However, Obioma was appointed as NECO, last year, May 15, 2020. His appointment was signed by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
The appointment, for an initial tenure of five years, took effect from May 14, 2020.
Obioma, succeeded the former, acting Registrar, Abubakar Gana. The handover ceremony was held at NECO, headquarters Minna.
Obioma, 62, was a Professor of Education Measurement and Evaluation Secretary, Nigeria Educational Research and Development Council.
Obioma, was also, a former Resident Commissioner of the National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Ebonyi State.
